Yarntelier at Chatsworth House
Following two very successful Workshops at Chatsworth House in 2018 we are delighted to announce an exclusive Hand Knitting Weekend Workshop with Louisa Harding held within the Stables Courtyard in April 2019.
Louisa Harding’s design collection Cook’s Study Hill was inspired by a visit to Chatsworth House and she would like to share with you this amazing resource and show you how to translate your creative ideas into an original design for a hand knitted lace scarf or shawl. Below are a few of the lovely comments from participants on the April 2018 Workshop.
'The course far exceeded my expectations, I gained a new perspective and appreciation for design details, something I'm going to enjoy putting into practice.' Christina, April 2018
'It was both a wonderful, inspiring environment to be in and an excellent learning opportunity for us all, what a pity it had to end.' Chris, April 2018
'I was lucky enough to attend Louisa Harding's knitting design course over two days in April. The whole weekend was just amazing. We started off with a private tour of Chatsworth House to give us inspiration for designing our own knitting pattern. After an amazing lunch at Chatsworth, we then went into our work room, where our work definitely began! I have used Louisa Harding's knitting patterns for years, so to meet her and get to know her a bit, was wonderful. A lovely lady and such a lovely group of people who attended also. If Louisa does this again, I would totally recommend it.' Ruth, April 2018
